The Liebster Award

I was very thrilled to receive the Liebster Award from Dani at Eco Footprint South Africa.  It is lovely to know that people are enjoying following my blog.  I often feel like I 'dribble' a bit, I have trouble reining in my words!

So...... the award!  The Liebster award is a way to share five blogs with under 200 followers.  It's always nice to visit blogs that take other people's fancy.

Thank you Dani!  You are a constant source of inspiration.

The rules are:
1 Thank the recipient and link back to their blog.
2 Reveal your top five picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3 Copy and paste the award to your blog.
4 Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.

Now the hard part.... choosing only five!  I could have chosen so many more.  Below is a list of blogs (in no order) from which I look forward to new posts.

These blogs either educate me, give me a feeling of belonging to a thoughtful  community or offer support and friendship.  ALL of these blogs inspire me!!!

Thank you to all of you for sharing snippets of your lives/information/ideas and wisdom.  Wouldn't life be a lonely place if we didn't share, and support each other!

Oh Linda, thats so sweet!! Thanks for the kind words both here and on my blog - it's always nice to hear from you! I feel a bit special now, actually!
Sharing a part of my life online has not only given me a chance to journal bits that would otherwise go unnoticed but also allowed me to 'meet' other mums doing the same as I do i.e. mothering, gardening, saving, repurposing etc.
Probably like you, it's so helpful to see that 'hey, we are all choosing the harder way and all doing it to the best of our ability, warts and all.'
I guess I can't give you a Liebster Award back but you would most definitely be on my list of five! x x x

Shucks, thankyou very much. Like Evi I blog mainly to journal our little family life, but the connection I make with other like minded people is really important to me.
